I’m Drew, host of Stop the Ride

Two men standing outside, smiling, with arms around each other's shoulders. The man on the right wears a T-shirt with the text 'Proud Parent of a Porn Star'.

That’s me with my dad back home in New Jersey.

I’m Drew Valentino — an actor, model, and comedian who’s spent a lot of time on stages, in front of cameras, and (more importantly) in the middle of real-life chaos and transformation. I created Stop the Ride as a space to have honest, vulnerable, and sometimes hilarious conversations about our relationships with alcohol, drugs, and ourselves. My background in comedy helps me keep it light when it needs to be, but I’m not afraid to go deep.

This show is personal. It’s for anyone who’s ever wondered if their relationship with substances might be more complicated than it looks from the outside. We film episodes on location around the world because I believe real stories deserve real spaces — not just remote interviews. I’m passionate about building something that’s raw, inclusive, and meaningful, and I’m so glad you’re here for the ride.

“I made one post about being sober, and the response floored me—people shared their own stories, their struggles, their hope. That’s when I realized: there’s power in telling the truth. This podcast is my way of keeping that conversation going.””
